About Shadowland Survivors
Shadowland Survivors is a roguelike action game that started at Kenney’s Game Jam 2023. It came in 2nd place in “Presentation/Visuals” and overall 9th in the competition. Although the gameplay was a bit different, we’re planning to turn it into a fully-fledged roguelite with expanded content and mechanics.

Dark dungeons await. Fight monsters, collect loot, and survive as long as you can in this procedurally-generated roguelike adventure.
Game Features

- Procedurally generated dungeons: Every run is unique
- Permadeath: One life per run, but unlock permanent upgrades
- Random loot: Discover weapons, armor, and consumables
- Boss battles: Face challenging enemies at dungeon depths
🎨 Visual Style
The game features a dark, atmospheric art style with:
- Hand-crafted pixel art for characters and enemies
- Dynamic lighting effects in dungeons
- Particle effects for combat and abilities
- Smooth animations for attacks and movements
